Radar Control

~3 min read Feature

Sometimes the best strategy is staying invisible. Radar Control lets you hide your position from the live world satellite map for a brief window — giving you the element of surprise before a siege assembly, a bounty run, or a sensitive supply move.

How It Works

The EarthStonks live map shows the position of all players in real time. Using Radar Control removes your marker from the map for 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes — or when you manually re-enable it — your position reappears.

The 60-minute cooldown starts at the moment you activate Radar Off, not when it expires. So even if you turn it back on early with /radar on, you still wait 60 minutes from activation before you can hide again.

/radar offHide yourself on the map for 10 minutes · costs $3,000
/radar onShow yourself on the map early (before the 10 min expires)

Tactical Uses

Siege Assembly

Before placing a siege banner, activate Radar Off. Enemy defenders watching the live map won't see your force massing near their border. A surprise assembly is far harder to defend against than one the defender can watch approaching in real time.

Bounty Hunting

If you're pursuing a high-value bounty target, going dark prevents them from seeing you close in on the map. Combined with proximity voice chat for coordination, a radar-dark assault team is formidable.

Sensitive Supply Runs

Moving large quantities of strategic resources through contested wilderness? Hide your route. Enemy traders and raiders watch the map for isolated players carrying valuable cargo.

Coordinate With Allies Your allies also can't see you on the map when you're hidden. Agree on a meeting point before going dark, or use Proximity Voice Chat to stay coordinated.
